The Total effective dose equivalent (TEDE) is a dosimetric quantity used for comparing the health effects of radiation to the human body.
TEDE is used by the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission to define dose limits for occupationally exposed individuals and members of the general public. Total Effective Dose Equivalent (TEDE) means the sum of the effective dose equivalent (for external exposures) and the committed effective dose equivalent (for internal exposures)
